What is your intention for having this session? It might be helpful to write down the reasons you are seeking a session and begin to understand exactly what you hope to explore.
For example: Health, relationships, life path, spiritual origins, goals
Begin to say to yourself, both out loud and inside of your mind:
“I have clear and direct communication with my Higher Self”
(OR divine aspect, soul self or whatever resonates with you)
This is an expanded presence within you and will allow communication to flow freely in your session.
Drink water as water equals consciousness. You can imagine your body is a battery that if well hydrated will facilitate a strong connection and communication with other realms.
Drink in your intentions with every sip, release all that does not serve you.
Have a goal of creating 7–10 questions that are direct. They can centre on a concern and/or a curiosity. Spend some time writing down all of your questions and refine them once you see a trend emerging. Once you arrive in your session anticipate refining them with your practitioner.
Leave them at the door! It is helpful if you arrive with an open mind that is willing to follow the path your subconscious mind takes you on.
Every session is unique and directed by the client. Throughout the hypnosis you will likely be aware of all that is being said and will remember what happens.
All answers are within you. Your conscious mind exists within that Higher Aspect.
Don’t drink too much coffee or tea the day of your session. You want to be relaxed, but not experiencing a caffeine withdrawal headache.
Eat a light snack or light meal before your session and please don’t start your session hungry.
Wear loose fitting clothing and minimal amounts of jewelry. It is advised that you skip mascara and make up for the session as tears are a very common release mechanism and are a welcomed response.
The week leading up to your session, practice quieting your mind through meditation. Practice daydreaming and notice how information comes to you in these moments.
Notice if you imagine images, hear information in words or voices, feel information as emotions or intuitively know information. Some will even smell or taste their answers.
